For decades, the Mack family has been working to promote mutual understanding between France and Germany. On 28. January 2025, French President Emmanuel Macron has honoured Roland Mack's special commitment with a special medal: the rank of ‘Officer of the Legion of Honour’. Only a few Germans have received this distinction so far – a great honour for the founder of Europa-Park.
