David Ginnuttis is the Creative Head, storyteller, and author at MACK Magic, and one of the creative minds behind Europa-Park first international feature film. In collaboration with Warner Bros., an animated film of top international quality was created, involving several hundred people from around the world. The film Grand Prix of Europe will premiere in German cinemas on July 24, 2025 – but the adventure doesn’t stop there: The story of Ed, Edda & friends also continues as a comic book, novel, video game, Tonie audio figure – and of course, as a spectacular 3D dark ride attraction at Europa-Park.
How does MACK Magic manage to tell a seamless, immersive universe across so many different media formats? What roles do emotion, technology, music, AI, real people, and character development play in the creative process? And does a good story for David Ginnuttis still begin the classic way – with pen and paper – or is it all completely digital by now?
