In honour of Wolfgang Schäuble, Roland Mack, owner of Europa-Park, launched the Wolfgang Schäuble Democracy Forum. This event is to take place every two years at Europa-Park and brings together young people from France and Germany to discuss subjects such as Franco-German friendship and democracy.
Speakers at the workshops included Christine Strobl, daughter of Wolfgang Schäuble, and Brigitte Klinkert, member of the French National Assembly. Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz also visited the forum and addressed the younger generation.
