As a circus priest from Lucerne, Ernst Heller visited Europa-Park more than 30 years ago and met Franz and Liesel Mack. From the very first moment, he felt a special bond with the Mack family. It wasn't long before he received his first request from them: They wanted him to inaugurate their new hotel 'Castillo Alcazar'. From that moment on, Heller became an important part of Europa-Park. Known as 'God's clown', the priest used humour to bring God's message to the people. He blessed new attractions, organised services, performed weddings and baptisms in the Santa Isabel Church and was always concerned about the people of the park. "I want God to protect Europa-Park and for blessings everywhere," was Heller's wish.

In this episode of the series 'The Europa-Park Story', look back on his career together with Ernst Heller and the Mack family and enjoy many funny anecdotes from earlier times of a very special family business.
